Who doesn’t love Jello Salad?! This makes a great side dish, dessert or dish to bring to any potluck or get together. It’s definitely not the healthiest jello salad- it’s made with jello, marshmallows, cool whip and bananas. Well, it has bananas so it’s sorta healthy 🙂 This is a family favorite that we make for all holidays as well as everyone in the family making it at their homes on a regular basis.

Do you have a big empty space above your kitchen cabinet and are unsure how to decorate it? I sure did! I spent 2 months looking at the empty space above my kitchen cabinets daily trying to figure out what to do with that space. It’s an awkward little area because if you put smaller stuff up there, no one will be able to see any of it and if you put too much stuff on top then it’s very busy and just doesn’t look right (at least in my opinion is doesn’t). Finally, I just decided to try a few things to see what would work.
I have always bought new shower curtain liners every couple of months when they start to get nasty. There’s nothing else to do about it right? Wrong! They are washable! In the washing machine! I new you could scrub them by hand but who really wants to do that?
Okay so I am freak about anything chocolate and peanut butter! Sometimes I even just melt them both together and eat it with a spoon. Yes, I know how unhealthy that is but I love how the they taste together! I recently tried out some new Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars and they are amazing! I just used my standard chocolate chip recipes and added peanut butter to it!
The past few years I have been on what seems like a never ending cycle of paying off debt then accumulating more, but I am determined to make 2016 different! This is going to be the year that I pay off a minimum of $30,000 in debt! My hubby and I have a goal to be debt free, including our mortgage within 15 years.
I am always trying to find quick, easy and somewhat healthy dinner options. After working all day, the last thing I want to do is come home and spend an hour or longer cooking dinner (I’m really lazy in the evenings after work). While looking online, I saw several Honey Mustard Pork Chop recipes and after trying a few different recipes then tweaking them to taste how I wanted them to, I came up this simple recipe.
This past weekend, I decided to make some Blondies. But I wanted to add a little more flavor to them so I looked at what I had in my pantry and white chocolate and coconut won! It sounded so delicious and I was definitely right. They taste AMAZING! I am a chocolataholic and love all kinds of chocolate (and sweets in general!) but white chocolate is my favorite. I have also been in a coconut mood lately so I had to add in some coconut flakes. I always get a little nervous when making new recipes but luckily these ones worked out good!
I rely heavily on meal planning. If I don’t plan out my meals weekly then I forget to pull forget to pull meat out of the freezer, don’t have the right groceries to make a complete meal and end up eating out way to much (which is really hard on my budget!). Every weekend I sit down and plan out my meals for the week and make a grocery list to avoid eating out or having a frozen pizza 5 days a week.
I love make ahead breakfast casseroles that you can just pop in the oven in the morning. They are perfect for weekends, holidays or when you have guests over. This breakfast casserole is made with bacon, sausage, hash browns, cheese and eggs. Yummy!
I love shopping, but I also love finding great deals! Today I am going to share my favorite websites & apps that will give you cash back on your online and in-store purchases. Who wouldn’t want free money back from their purchases?! These cash back sites and apps are all very easy to use and don’t take too much time to get started and continue using. Since I am a huge fan of online shopping, these rebate sites are my favorite and I don’t buy anything without checking for deals first.
