A few days ago Hubby decided that he was going to make dinner. This does not happen very often so when he told me that he found a recipe online called Taco Spaghetti and he was going to try it, I got a little nervous. Luckily, it turned out amazing! Plus, it only took him about 20-25 minutes to make and he didn’t even need my help! I got to just stand in the kitchen and watch (while looking at stuff on Pinterest). I suggested that he starts cooking dinner every other night but I don’t think he took me seriously because it hasn’t happened yet.
These dinner rolls are amazing! I got this recipe from my mother in law and instantly fell in love with these rolls the first time I had them (I may have eaten 5 or 6 in one meal). After I had these rolls at her house a few times I went out and bought a bread maker just so that I would be able to make these at home, whenever I want them. Five years later, this is still the only thing that I have made in my bread maker (hopefully that will change soon because I want to try some new recipes).
Who doesn’t love Jello Salad?! This makes a great side dish, dessert or dish to bring to any potluck or get together. It’s definitely not the healthiest jello salad- it’s made with jello, marshmallows, cool whip and bananas. Well, it has bananas so it’s sorta healthy 🙂 This is a family favorite that we make for all holidays as well as everyone in the family making it at their homes on a regular basis.
I am always trying to find quick, easy and somewhat healthy dinner options. After working all day, the last thing I want to do is come home and spend an hour or longer cooking dinner (I’m really lazy in the evenings after work). While looking online, I saw several Honey Mustard Pork Chop recipes and after trying a few different recipes then tweaking them to taste how I wanted them to, I came up this simple recipe.
Regular Ravioli’s is a pretty easy and tasty meal but Ravioli Casserole is easier to make and taste even better! With this casserole, you don’t have to boil the ravioli’s or even heat up the sauce. You just put the 3 ingredients needed for this meal (ravioli’s, sauce and cheese) in a 9×13 glass pan and stick it in the oven. I am all about quick & easy meals!
I love any kind of Mexican food! So, naturally, I was very excited when I found this Mexican Casserole. I got this recipe from a Kraft seasoning packet a few years ago and it quickly became one of my family’s favorite meals. This casserole is quick and easy to make and taste amazing!
Crockpot BBQ Chicken is so quick & easy to make! You just mix a couple ingredients together really quick and throw it in the crockpot for 6 hours. This is a very delicious meal that your whole family will enjoy! What’s not to love about simple BBQ chicken?! This is a great weekday dinner when you want a tasty meal but don’t have the time or energy to cook. I usually start this on my lunch break and it is done when I get home in the evening. It also goes great with any side dish- mashed potatoes, pasta, vegetables.
You will love these enchiladas! Cream Cheese Chicken Enchiladas are very delicious and extremely easy to make. These are more creamy than regular enchiladas but taste even better. They do take a little bit of time to cook though (about 1 hour) so it’s not a good meal when you are looking for a quick dinner but half of that is letting it cook in the oven. The most difficult part of making these enchiladas is cooking the chicken, which I think most people will agree is pretty easy.
This is by far my most popular side-dish with all my family and friends. Not only is my Potato Chip Casserole a frequent dinner request, it is requested for almost all holidays and get togethers as well. This recipe originally came from a Tuna Fish Casserole that my mom used to make when I was younger. As I got older, I started experimenting with the recipe by making it without the tuna, adding different ingredients and changing some of the existing ingredients.
Twice baked potatoes are one of my favorite foods! This recipe is pretty similar to the standard twice baked potato only it is made with ranch dip (YUM!). What makes it even better is that this side dish goes with almost any meal.
I don’t get to make these very often because they take so long to make (a little over an hour) so when I do make them, I double this recipes and have leftovers for a few days.
